Nature Journaling with Geoffrey: A 3-part Series

Nature Journaling with Geoffrey: A 3-part Series
Saturday April 19th 2:00 PM
Do I have a treat for you! I met my “neighbor” Geoffrey a year or two after moving to our farm. He has a farm over the hill from ours where he grows heirloom and native varieties of vegetables using very low impact methods including permaculture. Geoffrey also runs a glorious veggie CSA through the growing seasons, Pine Run Garden CSA. He is an absolute wealth of knowledge about many topics but of particular interest to me, nature and our local fauna and flora. He started doing nature journaling years ago and he’s shared some of his work with me. We thought it would be very special to have Geoffrey guide and teach us, experience joy, surprise, discovery, connection and wonder with the practice of Nature Journaling through our farm.
From Geoffrey: ‘Nature journaling is an opportunity to slow down, stop, observe, learn about and connect more deeply with life and nature. Participants will begin by learning the basics of nature journaling including materials and techniques followed by a guided outdoor journaling session and finishing up with a journal share and a review of the class.’
Includes a watercolor journal, travel watercolor set, & your own watercolor pencils. Feel free to bring your own favorite art medium. You don’t need to be an artist by any means. This is not only a way to connect with nature (especially our own local environment) but a way to connect with yourself on another level. It’s pretty transformative and Geoffrey is the perfect guide.
This will be a three part, seasonal series (spring, summer, fall). You can participate in one or all three (a discount for signing up for all three now).
Purchase each individual season (Spring April 19th, Summer July 12th, or Autumn October 18th) OR purchase all three now at a discounted price!
2:00 - 4:00 PM
